Companies honoured at London conference for SMS and messaging services

Ten companies were honoured for their excellence in mobile messaging at a ceremony in London last night.

The companies were all winners – in different categories – of this year’s Messaging & SMS World Awards, presented at the end of the first day of the Messaging & SMS World conference.

The winners were selected by a team of independent judges from the detailed information submitted by dozens of entrants – along with testimonials from their customers.

Alan Burkitt-Gray, executive editor of Global Telecoms Business, who chaired the panel and presented the awards last night, said: “The judges assessed all submissions against published criteria and graded them using a weighted points system to ensure consistency, depth of analysis and rigour. This process ensured a credible, fair and unbiased assessment of all submissions.”

The awards winners have been invited to present details of their projects on day two of the conference. “It will be a good opportunity for all of us to hear more and maybe ask questions,” said Burkitt-Gray.
